Winter Warmth In Kind Drive
We are holding our Winter Warmth in-kind drive for the month of November just in time for rapidly decreasing temperatures. Help us give the gift of warmth to our community members.
According to The Columbian in May of this year, a one-night count in Clark County found a 21% increase in homelessness since last year. Additionally, the Council for the Homeless hotline receives daily calls from those vacating their homes due to rising rents – stating it is a main factor driving more and more people out of their homes. Senior and those with disabilities being hit the hardest, most being on a fixed income.
Who does this in-kind drive help?
As a community-based organization, we are passionate about helping those in need. We are collecting new and gently used hats, socks, gloves, jackets and blankets at multiple locations across Clark County including all of our Clark County offices, The Source Climbing Center, Spanky’s Consigment and Community of ChristChurch in Hillsboro, OR.
If you’re unable to drop off items but still wish to help with the Winter Warmth in-kind drive, click here to donate directly. We hold ongoing programs and are grateful for these gifts.
