COVID-19 Update and Online Recovery Meetings

Covid-19 Updates

During this time of daily or even hourly updates with new information, restrictions and other COVID-19 details, we want to share what we are doing at Lifeline Connections in response to COVID-19.

We continue to follow all the necessary CDC cleanliness guidelines to ensure a safe, sanitary environment and have postponed/cancelled all upcoming events that would have an audience of 25 or more.

Our residential treatment programs are open and will admit new patients. Providing treatment for those with substance use disorder is extremely important to us. All new patients are screened for symptoms and Lifeline Connections patients will soon be allowed to face time loved ones in lieu of onsite visitation. We’ve also stopped off-site outings for the time being.

MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) is continuing to treat patients as normal, during regular business hours.

Other Changes

  1. We have limited the number of individuals for groups in both outpatient and residential treatment to ten.
  2. Support meetings held at the Recovery Resource Center are suspended.
  3. Signage is in various locations about proper hygiene and hand washing.

How to Continue Recovery Support

There are many online resources for the recovery community. It is very important to stay connected each way the person can. In the Rooms is a great tool with daily, live online meetings. You can be anonymous or public – just create and account (it is free) and join the meeting you want.

Find emotional support before you begin feeling overwhelmed if possible. Emotions Anonymous has meetings via chat, Skype or phone and can help provide the coping skills and support when you need someone to listen.

We are thankful to be a part of this community that continues to come together to support and care for each other. We will continue sending updates as necessary on our website, Facebook page or Instagram.
