Recovery looks different for everyone. But there’s one thing we all have in common: Support from our community helps us stay in recovery.
You don’t have to do it alone. Connecting with others on the path to recovery can help you:
Stay clean and sober
Sometimes the most critical next step is finding safe and sober housing. Sometimes it’s surrounding yourself with healthy people. Many of us find the sustenance we need with the support of a self-help group.
For others, faith plays a key role in our continued success. Involvement in a faith based community has brought meaning, inspiration, support and new connections into many of our lives.
Giving back to the community can make us feel empowered. Some of us are so grateful for the help we’ve received that we’re hungry to give back—through volunteering, mentoring or involvement in community events.
Find your support
Joining a recovery support group gives you a network of people who are rooting for your success. We encourage you to take part in any groups and activities that are meaningful to you.
hope. help. Healing.
