One of the guiding principles of Lifeline Connections is “hope. help. Healing”; this theme is woven into the foundation of every service we provide. We understand that substance use disorders and mental health conditions can be debilitating for those who live with them as well as the family, friends and community that are impacted. At Lifeline Connections we know that recovery is possible, we see it every day and celebrate with those who are experiencing it.
Lifeline Connections started in 1962 as the Clark County Council on Alcohol. Eventually it became known as the Clark County Council on Alcohol and Drugs (CCCoAD). In 2005 CCCoAD merged with Pacific Crest Consortium to become Lifeline Connections. In that same year we became a community mental health agency initially specializing in fully integrated services for adults experiencing symptoms from co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions. Our array of services and practices have evolved and progressed as new information and research-based best practices are developed.
Today Lifeline Connections provides the most comprehensive continuum of behavioral health care in SW Washington. The staff and Board of Directors take seriously the responsibility we have to our clients, the community and the communities our clients return to. We are grateful for the opportunity we have to be an agent of change in the lives of those we serve and we will continue in our dedication to do so.
